Introduction

The life cycle of Palmiye products, starts with the manufacture of the manufacturer, continues with sales and assembly of the dealer which dealers should be very careful about pricing issue, taking into account the conditions of the service it will provide in its region and the cost of the service that customer will need. After-sales services are planned to be within the scope of dealer warranty and services. The manufacturer prepare the price of the product to the dealer taking into consideration that will satisfy all of the dealer needs which can be occur, in the same way, it is strongly advised that the dealer installation pricing should contain the cost of difficulty of region, distance of installation place and free after sales service.

In consideration of the above acknowledgments, the manufacturer is responsible for the complete production of the products for the dealer. The dealer is responsible for the assembly and after-sales service in its own region.

General Rules and Admissions

Supervisor and Installation Support Basic Rules

  • Supervisor service is a service support provided by the manufacturer. The supervisor fee is only for supervisor service, all quality control guarantee of the product and the responsibility of correct assembly of the product belong to the dealer.

Basic Rules for Spare Parts Stock Management 

  • Each dealer is responsible for keeping stocks of parts which the quantity and amount determined by the manufacturer.
  • Problems arising from not keeping a stock of the parts is the responsibility of the dealer.
  • Urgent shipment requests due to lack of stock are the responsibility of the customer.

          • If the part in the stock has been revised (upgraded) and it is still suitable for the use of the old part, the dealer is responsible for keeping the stock of old parts in hand. The dealer will make the stock refurbishment with a new order for parts.

          • If the spare parts stock held by the dealer has become unusable due to the product development, the cost of this stock is returned to the dealer by the decision of the manufacture company.

Basic Rules for General Transport Damages 

  • Damages caused by in-pallet packaging are under the responsibility of the manufacturer.
  • Regardless of who organizes the transport, the dealer is responsible for checking the pallets and taking notes on the CMR form before approving the CMR form, if there are any damages on the pallets. After that the transport damages can be evaluated under the insurance coverage.
  • The responsibility of the errors occurring during the transport, belongs to the party who has organized the transport until it is covered by the insurance. The process is followed up by the party who organized the transport and the insurance.
  • The manufacturer company has the right not to produce the products until the end of the insurance process.
  • The manufacturer company is not responsible for any delay caused by transportation.

Basic Rules Related to Dealer’s Stock Products

  • The manufacturer company has the responsibility of keeping a stock for a product that it has removed from its product range for a period of 5 years to meet the technical service needs.
  • If the manufacturer creates a situation that prevents the use of a material in the dealer’s stocks, together with the product improvements it has made, it is the manufacturer’s responsibility to solve this situation.

Basic Rules for Palmiye Non-Standards (Limits) Production

  • • Non-standard productions are under the responsibility of the dealer. (Out of limits)
  • The responsibility belongs to the manufacturer company in non-standard steel projects with the condition of performing static analysis. The dealer covers the cost of static analysis.

General Rules and Admissions of ‘CUSTOMER CLAIM FORM’ Situations

Basic Rules for Transport

          Production Time 

  • The Manufacturer Company undertakes to make the product ready for shipment to the dealer within a maximum of 4 weeks.
  • If the dealer has no shipment within 4 weeks, the manufacturer will arrange the shipment.

          Shipment method

  • The Shipping Method is decided by the manufacturer company.
  • The manufacturer company’s standard shipping method is land and sea. The Standard procedure of Palmiye is to ship with a project of the dealer in production;

          • Without creating a pallet with an additional shipping cost,

          • If there is enough space in full container shipments,

          • Planning a shipment without creating extra pallets in the partial shipments.

  • In case of a fast shipment (DHL, fed ex air cargo, etc.) request by the dealer, the manufacturer company covers the part of the fast shipping price equal to the amount of land / sea transportation, which is the standard shipping method of the Palmiye, and the remaining cost is covered by the dealer.
  • The reference in the shipping cost is the central address of the dealer. In case of sending to a different place from this address, the cost difference will be covered by the dealer.
  • The manufacturer will arrange shipment to Palmiye Structures’ sub-dealer address.

Basic Rules for Customs and Taxation

  • The taxes incurred due to the customs legislation within the borders of the Turkish Republic belong to the manufacturer, and the taxes due to the customs legislation outside the borders of the Turkish Republic belong to the dealer.

Basic Rules for Shipping Insurance

  • Insurance amount belongs to the manufacturing company in the transportations organized by the manufacturer.
  • The dealer in its request for a faster method of shipment, other than the standard shipping method decided by the manufacturer, the standard shipment (land or sea) insurance cost is covered by the manufacturer, the rest is covered by the dealer.

Field Operational Basic Rules about Quality Problems (Labour + operational expenses)

  • The field operations of the problems caused by the manufacturer are the responsibility of the dealer. The responsibility of delivering the spare parts to the dealer’s address is the duty of the manufacturer. Briefly, the supply of the parts belongs to the manufacturer and the responsibility of the application belongs to the dealer.

Common Errors During Installation - Basic Rules

  • The parts that the dealer has in stock are used for assembly needs after that the basic transportation principle applies. The part used from the stocks of the dealer is supplied by Palmiye free of charge. If the dealer has a project in production, the parts are sent free of charge with related shipment. If there is no project in production, it is sent within 4 weeks by standard shipping method.
  • In cases where the related problem that prevents the progress of the assembly which also cannot be solved locally, the related products are sent with the most appropriate method to be decided by the manufacturer. ( Shipment within 4 weeks rule does not apply in this case. )
  • Approval of alternative solutions to solve the problem should be obtained from the manufacturer. All costs arising from the application made without information are in the responsibility of the dealer.
  • Accommodation and similar costs arising from the problems related with the products whose assembly is ongoing are the responsibility of the dealer.

Basic Rules related to Glass Breakage

  • Glass breakages are not covered by the warranty.
  • Glass breakages caused by faulty project planning are under warranty.
  • Breakages during the transportation are evaluated under the insurance coverage.
  • Breakages during the assembly process are under the responsibility of the dealer.
  • Post-installation responsibility should be evaluated within the scope of the customer’s insurance.
